Misconceptions run rampant, often fueled by misinformation, distortions in the media, or a simple lack of exposure. And, of course, people sometimes find themselves in situations in which they need to make decisions, but lack the training and expertise to even understand the options available to them.
Part of our mission at Shelton Legal Services is to educate the public on the law and legal issues. After all, the more you know, the better equipped you are to make decisions.
