Shelton Legal Services is proud to welcome attorney Cheryl Landrum to our staff as new Associate Attorney. Ms. Landrum is a 2006 graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she studied real property and international law. She has been licensed as an attorney for ten years. During that time she has assisted clients with organizing and restructuring businesses (including large corporation restructuring/refinancing), estate planning and probate law, buying/selling/renting property, and representing clients in civil litigation.
Prior to becoming an attorney, she spent several years working as a Title Examiner, and is currently licensed in the State of Michigan as a Land Title Insurance Agent. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Baker College, where she teaches business law.
Managing Attorney Steven Shelton expressed excitement. "I have known Cheryl since law school, and she is a fantastic attorney," he said. "With her skills, we can now offer first-rate services in new areas of law, especially real property, business organization, and even international law. And, of course, we will continue to offer the high level of representation we have always offered our clients in criminal defense, civil litigation, and appeals."
